Referral Program

OnlySkills Platform

These Referral Program Terms ("Program Terms") govern your participation in the OnlySkills Referral Program (the "Program"). These Program Terms supplement the OnlySkills Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, these Program Terms control with respect to the Program.

By participating in the Program, you agree to these Program Terms.

1. ELIGIBILITY

To participate in the Referral Program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Have an active OnlySkills account in good standing
  • Comply with all applicable laws and these Program Terms

OnlySkills reserves the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to deny or revoke participation at its sole discretion.

2. HOW REFERRALS WORK

2.1 Referral Process

You may earn referral bonuses by inviting others to join OnlySkills using your unique referral link. A referral qualifies when:

  • The referred user creates an OnlySkills account using your referral link
  • The referred user completes their first qualifying transaction on the platform

2.2 Referral Bonuses

  • Referral bonus amounts are displayed in the app and may change at any time
  • Bonuses are credited to your OnlySkills account balance upon the referred user meeting the qualification criteria
  • There is no limit to the number of qualifying referrals you may make
  • Bonus amounts are not guaranteed and may be adjusted or discontinued at any time with reasonable notice

3. PROHIBITED PRACTICES

The following are prohibited and may result in disqualification, forfeiture of bonuses, and/or account suspension:

  • Self-referrals: Creating multiple accounts to earn bonuses
  • Spam: Unsolicited messages, bulk messaging, or deceptive advertising to generate referrals
  • Income guarantees: Making misleading claims about potential earnings when promoting OnlySkills
  • Fake signups: Purchasing or incentivizing fake account registrations
  • Misrepresentation: Implying that OnlySkills endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with any third party in connection with your referral activities

4. PAYOUTS

4.1 Account Balance

All referral bonuses are credited to your OnlySkills account balance. Your balance is visible in the app.

4.2 Minimum Payout Threshold

You must accumulate a minimum balance of $50.00 before requesting a payout. OnlySkills reserves the right to adjust this threshold.

4.3 Payment Processing

  • Payouts are processed within 21 business days of an approved request
  • Payments are made via the payment method(s) available in the app
  • OnlySkills is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors

4.4 Forfeiture

Earned but unpaid balances may be forfeited if:

  • Your account is terminated for violation of these Program Terms or the Terms of Service
  • Your account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months
  • Bonuses are determined to have been obtained through fraudulent means

5. DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS

When sharing your referral link publicly (social media, blog posts, videos, etc.), you are responsible for complying with applicable advertising disclosure requirements, including the FTC Endorsement Guides. This means clearly disclosing that you may earn a bonus from referrals (e.g., using #ad or #referral).

6. TAX RESPONSIBILITY

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on referral bonuses. OnlySkills may be required to collect tax information and report earnings to tax authorities as required by applicable law. OnlySkills does not provide tax advice.

7. MODIFICATION & TERMINATION

7.1 Changes to the Program

OnlySkills may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Referral Program (or any part of it) at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

7.2 Termination

Either party may end participation at any time:

  • You: Stop sharing your referral link
  • OnlySkills: May suspend or terminate your participation for any violation of these Program Terms, with or without notice

Upon termination, pending qualifying bonuses will be paid out per Section 4, unless termination was due to fraud or material violation.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnlySkills' total liability to you in connection with the Referral Program shall not exceed the total amount of bonuses actually paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes arising from the Program shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in the OnlySkills Terms of Service.
